Frequently asked

What counts as a "cloud account"?

One AWS account, GCP project, Azure subscription, or Oracle tenancy. If you have dev/staging/prod on separate AWS accounts, that's 3. Most teams on the Team plan never come close to the limit.

How does the 14-day trial work?

Click any "Start 14-day trial" button above. You won't be charged until day 15. Cancel anytime before then and you pay nothing. No gotchas.

What does auto-remediation actually do?

InfraGhost continuously compares your live infrastructure against your desired state (Terraform, CloudFormation, or a defined baseline). When drift is detected — a security group rule changed, a config drifted, a tag was removed — it rolls back the change automatically and logs every action for your audit trail.

Do I need to give InfraGhost write access?

For drift detection only: read access is enough. For auto-remediation: yes, InfraGhost needs scoped write permissions on the resources you want it to manage. The onboarding flow walks you through the exact IAM policy needed — it's narrower than what most tools request.

Can I upgrade or downgrade?

Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. No contracts, no penalties.
